“it reads, “this had better be good or my bane friend here eats you.”

what little time he had left was spent rolling his eyes up to look at her face, then hissing out what was probably a curse as the bell noisily clattered to the floor.

And neither does she. This is oreo, i hired her recently and shes done well so far. Possibly enough to remain my bodyguard.

She wrenches it around and yanks it out, swearing quietly to herself. “What a joke- I thought I got rid of this old gag.” She turns to the others, nigh looking like a different lass. Earlier they’d seen a showrat- now she looks more like a killer, despite nothing changing, save for perhaps her facial expression and some new blood on her things.

She pushes the lizard back into his chair, thrusting her knife into his breast. She reaches in and, with a little grasping, quickly tear his heart from his chest. She holds it up and looks at it, before turning to Agniya with it in-hand.

“hmhmm, royal guard armor is a custom job each, so that will take a bit of time, and the records, well good thing you got us the royal seal stamp that will help a lot to get that working.”
