Only ones im personally interested in are thread starter, and maybe a few useless badges to fill space.

As an artist, is it possible to import galleries from sites like Derpibooru or would the images need to all be reposted?

There is no such tool that I know of. Some tags are different here from those on Derpibooru anyway (most importantly the rating ones) so automatically importing everything is not a good idea anyway.

Oh nice, this site seems like a great alternative to Derpibooru, from the rules. I would like the safe tag to be a bit, well, safer, but in practice it seems like people are handling it like Derpibooru’s safe anyway.
 
A question about Equestria Girls, they are humanized but they also have non-human skin colors. I assume they’re “not furry” regardless, but is that so?
 
Also, what’s the policy on hosting screenshots from a show, ex: MLP?

Humans are to be tagged as “not furry” and this includes Equestria Girls unless they have animal body parts - in that case they are humanoids.

One more thing, what’s the policy on images where a character holds up a Black Lives Matter sign? Would that get a “politics” tag, and thus be blocked by the default filter?

There were already extended discussions about that on Discord. I for one would say yes. Then it got to if showing off gay pride stuff is politics, which I think it is too.
 
Though, I think I don’t need to mention there were different opinions.

So no set policy, then? In that case, my preference is that “politics” should be spoiled and not hidden in the default filter. I think hiding those images would give a bad impression of this place.

Policy isn’t set in stone entirely yet, but it’s not dangling around either. We’ll discuss your proposal internally, though. Thank you for voicing concerns and we would like you to know that you’re listened to!

Ideally, this site has no politics unless you look for them. Keeps it clean for those of us who dont want to see it.

The idea that a Gay Pride image would count as politics, or that it would be something a regular user of this site wouldn’t want to see, doesn’t feel right at all, though. That’s a stricter definition of politics than even Derpibooru, and I would assume the furry fandom is much more accepting of Gay Pride than the community of Derpibooru. The same applies to support of Black Lives Matter.

Again, if people want to see it they can look for it. But some people, including me, would rather avoid it outright and have it pre hidden.
 
Mind you, im Bi, a girl, and a supporter of all lives matter. I just dont like seeing politics thrown into my daily dose of art. And nobodys here for politics, theyre here to enjoy furbooru and the community.
