Rename Questionable to Mature, or add a new rating category, Mature

Luna was recently complaining about how everybody uses Derpi or e621 rating guidelines, but I think you find that the problem lies in the fact questionable implies fetishy or softcore porn without genitals in common parlance.
 
Genitals themselves on most sites are classified as Explicit, or if there’s a lower category, Mature. The confusion here comes from using the term questionable, rather than mature, and I think you’re going to have an uphill battle teaching new users that questionable actually means mature on this site.
 
Mature:  
Deviant Art, Furaffinity, furrific, Furrylife, FurryNetwork, Weasyl, Ink Bunny, ESRB  
Explicit:  
Derpibooru, e621, tumblr, Patreon, Sofurry, MPAA
 
ONLY Derpi and e621 have a rating named ‘questionable,’ and those do not allow content with exposed genitals.
 
With all this in mind, while I agree that you dont want to be E621 or Derpi, I just think that it’ll be easier to do this adjustment right now while its small, rather than having to fight this through the entirety of your time here.

I can tell you right now that we will not add a new rating tag. If anything is to happen is that we can rename questionable into mature as per your suggestion, since technically it is the current questionable rating’s purpose.
 
I am of largely indifferent opinion here, but I’d prefer to just keep questionable if it was 100% up to me, but it might be that the idea needs to grow on me.

It might be worth editing the poll then. Making it 2 options, and disallowing voting for both. I’m agnostic between either adding or renaming, I just think its an uphill battle to try and use a word in a definition who’s largely not used in that manner.

I think adding a mature category is the best way, and that also if it is added, the “→ Visible sexual arousal (erect penises, vaginal secretions)” part of explicit should be folded into the mature category, leaving explicit really only for, well, explicit depictions of sexual activity.

Mature: Obviously sexual but nothing exposed OR “will be high art in 100 years” (artistic nudity)
