Oh,look mummy! Can I pet the smiling kitty?
No dear, The kitty’s psychotic. Maybe later if he’s feeling better.
8.5 x 11 color pencil and a smidge of copic to help save it. Grrrr!!
This piece was salvaged from a disaster! I thought it was dead but a little copic marker which I never used before helped save it a little. The smallest regular piece i’ve done in years though he is rather huge was the finest detailing I have ever done and heavily layered and somewhat overworked in spots.
I was out of fixative and I ordered my regular brand but bought workable as well final non-workable. I used the workable like I thought I always used (It was in the same color can as always you see) and immediately I saw something was wrong. The color seemed to be fading and or falling off. That was what was happening and I was sick.
I compared the new cans with an old can The old can was the final non workable type but the color of the label had changed. I finally felt well enough to see if anything could be salvaged. I was able to re-detail some but just couldn’t get the fine lines again. The cybernetic arm really got hammered along with some of the fur detailing. I decided to try some copics and that saved it enough to post. I had an extended bio to go with this guy that turned into a short story that I was going to post with him. May be later now.

I guess he turned out OK but it’s not the same. I’m totally bummed!
Posted him on FA last night. It wasn’t a good photo (no scanner) and not adjusted. This shot is a bit better and closer to RL>
