Yes, if gravity is high enough, the weight itself can be enough to crush a human being.
But this more accurately describes our bodies in prolonged exposure to low gravity, because there’s nothing weighing on our bodies. It makes it exceptionally easier to break our bones and can induce loss of muscle mass.
