Ashtin’s identity and history of herself is a bit of a mystery to her. She’s aware of only a few things; vague images of her parents, her species, basic knowledge and common sense, and her name.
 
Ashtin seemingly begins her journey by “waking up” standing in the middle of Crisis City where she slowly begins to realize after exploring some of the metropolitan area that she has no idea how or when she got there, almost as if this was her first memory for her.
 
After meeting both some unfriendly and friendly people who some she felt she could trust, Ashtin is told in different conversations that essentially most of the entire world haas deteriated society and governmental wise, barely even holding a sort of united nations. What they have instead is the Council of 7; seven different self proclaimed leaders of the world where according to some rumors one of them is behind the whole chaos and is really in charge, however the question of who is unknown.
 
It is also hinted at and explained later in the story that the symbol Ashtin holds on her jacket was supposed to have been the rebel sign of the “Convex Squad” who hold onto the last of morality and wish to bring it back whether peacefully or by force.
 
This is where our story truly begins.
