…you know when you make a sketch, then start adding more and more details until it takes 5 hours and doesn’t look like a sketch anymore? Yeah that’s what happened.
 
So, this is pretty much more concept art. Until now the Ajshar, the catfolk of my fantasy setting, had clothing, armors and architecture heavily based on the Middle East, Persia and India. Right now I’m really trying to give them some unique vibes, instead of simply copying real buildings or museum pieces. Some similarities with human cultures are fine, after all there’s a lot of trading going on in this setting between various races, and they are bound to influence each other, but at the same time I reeeeaaally want them to have “their own stuff” as well.
