In a place like an aviary family trees can get hard to figure out, especially if foxes are known to find their way in. Anyway her macaws relatives were reassuring her as I painted, that she’ll eventually find a good partner that looks just like her.
Inspired by a photo of birds of various species feeding together in an aviary. Among them was a single Catalina macaw, an hybrid type of macaw I had never heard about, on which this anthro fox is based.
