Suicune has always been one of my favorite legendaries, representing beauty and calmness for as long as I’ve known it. I’d go as far to say that it possibly is one of the most beautiful of all existing Pokemon, with is magnificent aurora colors and its canine form.

This picture, drawn for the 100 Themes challenge([link]), represents 34. Stars.

I have tried a style of coloring that I have not worked on since a picture of Cyndaquil. I do not know whether this unlined work deserves as much attention as I wish to give it.

I could not bring myself to ruin the picture with a badly-drawn aurora, so I transformed the sky with those shooting stars, the meteor shower, that turned out much better than I ever hoped it could.

I can see Suicune running through the forest now, and stepping onto the still mirrorlike lake, healing the water, purifying our hearts, as it gently bounds into the flaring auroras above the arctic skies…

Suicune represents a wish, a calm, undying wish, and that means more to me than words.
