Behold, the latest entry in the series of Gale striking a fun pose without any clothes on! Just imagine how many of these Kurtz must have in his phone. Nothing but nude gulls, gulls swallowing pizza slices whole, and nude gulls swallowing pizza slices whole for just as far as you can scroll! Also, and this is a pro tip, should you ever need to set a trap to capture yourself a Bombird Bombird, you can probably just pack the cage with an assortment of fine Gale nudes, and he’ll be along before you know it. ^_~

I particularly love this one for how well it shows off Gale’s unique arms. Those big flight feathers of hers make quite an impression, and I’m sure they necessitate some custom clothing choices, but they’re awfully hard to beat for putting on a display!

There’s always a bit of artistic liberty designing an anthro version of some critter or other. Which specifies-specific traits make it into the anthro version and in what form is a big part of the fun of character design for me, and I often think it can be worth preserving small details from the animal in a way that doesn’t quite match their biology, as long as it feels good in the final product. My often-cited example is Cellina’s long tail feathers with the black tips. On wild blue cranes, those are actually on the bases of their wings, and they only look like tail feathers when their wings are tucked back. But Cellina doesn’t have wing-arms, and it would have been a big shame to lose that fun detail, so she gets them as tail feathers instead of the regular blue crane chicken tail.

Gale has a bunch of these little points of artistic liberty, particularly around the colors of her feathers and the fact that feathers don’t actually grow from the scaly parts of avian bodies. I think she has worked out very well all the same, though, and I hope you all enjoy her as much as I do. Plus, that beak spot is all natural, baby! She wears the eye shadow to match it. ^_~
