Someone get PRIDE off faer high horse, ‘cause fae always believe that fae’re always correct. Snooty and proper (or at least that what fae think fae are), Pride often looks down on the other sins and holds a high reputation as one of the most stubborn. If fae say something and anyone voices out their disagreement, fae will dismiss the counterargument wholly and keep arguing until fae’re right. Pride also seems to have a penchant for collecting Victorian objects, including clothing and accessories. Fae always tie up faer hair in a neat updo, wear a variety of purple fascinators, and never leave the soul without a dainty parasol. Fae will especially fly into a blind rage if fae lose it or if it gets drenched. Fae speak in an exaggerated British accent, which can sometimes annoy the other sins, especially wrath—those two don’t get along well because of their argumentative nature.

If fae’re the summoner’s companion, outcomes include an inflated ego and always believing that they’re right: two traits that no one likes in a friend. Possible positive outcomes can cover proper decorum everywhere, even in informal situations—although it may seem a little weird. Summoners will also likely find themselves standing and sitting up extremely straight.

Pride’s emblem is a crown with grime oozing out of it, serving as a metonymy for the downfall of the extremely arrogant. You’ll find faem curled up with an Austen, Brontë, or any Victorian author’s piece of literature, fixing faer updo or sipping a cup of hot British tea. And you’ll often see faer pinky stuck out when drinking. Fae’re an old soul, and fae refuse to cope with technology, too.
