After escaping from the kelp farm where she was enslaved, Kerni makes her living stealing from travelers on Hope’s Pike. She strikes fast, leaping from the water, seizing her treasure, and vanishing back into deeper water before her victims even know they’ve been hit. This time she managed to hit a lightly defended convoy belonging to the Halcyon Trading Company. The bag she seized could contain anything, and after making her escape she’ll take her time unwrapping her prize. Despite multiple attempts by the order to capture this ‘vile Shiyan raider, they have had no success. Though she us unable to publicly admit it, Kerni’s mother, Vali, a fore on the Windhill Ranch, is extremely proud of her rebellious daughter, and how much she takes after her vulpine father.
