Behold… it is element #104, Rutherfordium, the self-proclaimed master of traps! And for good reason too: this rat-like radioactive element is considered to be a crafty tactician.

Rutherfordium has the distinct talent of decoding his enemies’ personality and fighting skill on a whim and then, using them to his advantage, predicts their next moves one after another. For trap-makers such as himself, that talent can prove to be a deadly asset in battle. One wrong move and his opponent can fall into a spike pit, a hidden catapult, or even be flung far away by a concealed slingshot. On a much grander scale, Rutherfordium can even steer enemies in the wrong direction or send them on a wild goose chase to impede their progress! In the event one of his schemes doesn’t go as planned, his agility and instincts allow him to flee and avoid capture with ease.

Rutherfordium serves as one of Technetium’s loyal subordinates. He helps orchestrate the group’s next plan of action and provides countermeasures for when the MPA or the police should interfere. Over time, he studies Hydrogen and his friends’ fighting styles and personalities to come up with new traps and red herrings to stop them in their tracks. By far, in his own words, the MP Agents are the most fun he’s had in a while!

A fast talker, Rutherfordium tends to bother a lot of people, friend and foe alike. It also doesn’t help that he has an annoying laugh as well (SHINININININI!!). But although he has a shifty, eccentric personality, Technetium trusts Rutherfordium wholeheartedly. If he ever wants to go out of his way to follow a plan of his own, he has permission to do so. He loves his profession, but nothing angers him or gets him flustered more than if his plans don’t turn out the way he wants them to be.
