Description
To understand how the theme and the flower (iris/irides) of this piece are related, you probably have to understand some German. :)
The German name of the flower is “Schwertlilie” - translating it literally you would get “sword lily”. I guess the rest is pretty obvious and self-explanatory. There are a few more hints in the piece that connect to the flower, but … that’s just how I like to paint stuff, I guess … lots of hidden details. :)
