“How May I Be Of Service?”
Ladies and gentlemen…we got ’er.
After many years of wondering if this was even possible in VaM, finally one creator proved up to the task of delivering. All my thanks to the godlike OniEkohvius and their fabulous model porting acumen. There were some sacrifices to be made for look accuracy (no actual physical eyeballs), such that not every angle is 100% perfect and some utility items don’t work, but damn it’s close so praise be! This is also an absolutely massive improvement over the first time I tried a VaM Rarity post using this environment, my embarrassing effort still available for all to see here.
As a reminder, this IS a virtual reality application and those ARE fully simulated, removable clothes with a fully simulated/physic-ed Rarity underneath soooooooooo…y’know. >_> It’s neat.
The picture was taken in desktop mode, but depending on your hardware your VR results may look almost exactly the same (assuming you were to make the same look edits I did). At any rate, I share this with any of you interested in taking the VaM plunge for yourselves, or just with any of you at all really. It can be a big ole’ timesink so can’t blame anyone for steering clear, but when it’s good, it’s great.
(NOTE: The horn shown here is just a random morphed ice-cream cone asset, not actually part of the base look.)
