Every superhero needs a good partner, thus comes our next character…
Enzo Tronzzone- Chip’s 11-year old owner.
Background:
Enzo was born a child prodigy and has been allowed to skip a few grades, causing him to be a freshman in high school. Enzo has always had a fascination and passion for science and robotics, and wants to grow up to become a great robot inventor. Unfortunately, his family does not approve of it. Enzo’s family runs an Italian restaurant. Most of them do not understand his passion for technology. They prefer him to work in the restaurant and keep the family business going.
Apparently, Enzo’s grandfather was also a brilliant inventor, until one of his experiments went wrong, resulting in his death. So his family tries to stay way from advanced technologies. Compared to most of the high-tech metropolis of Ratchet Lake City, his family’s restaurant is probably the LEAST advanced building. Yes, his family can be harsh on him in trying to bring down his passion for inventing, but it doesn’t go too far to forget that they only do out of love and they don’t want Ezno to meet the same fate as his grandfather.
Enzo’s family’s hatred toward technology is also the main reason Enzo has to keep Chip a secret from them. If his family knew Chip was still alive, and as a bonus, has become a cyborg, they wouldn’t let them be together.
Personality:
Enzo is a very intelligent, kindhearted, and usually optimistic young genius. Although he’s usually a pacific kid, he has his limits and can be a bit irritable when he’s pushed too far. He doesn’t often lose his temper, unless in times when nobody appreciates what he does. Enzo can also be a little impatient, concerning the fact that he can’t wait to finally grow up so he become an inventor, instead of working in his family’s restaurant.
Enzo has a natural gift for robotics and inventing, but since his family is against all of that, he doesn’t often get to use his gift. Without many outlets for his creative genius, Enzo often uses his smarts to come up with new techniques for Chip to do, and sometimes serves as his “guy-in-the-chair”, telling his where to go and where there is any criminal activity in the city.
But despite being so skilled with technology, Enzo sometimes has low self-esteem, because he thinks he’ll never get his family to appreciate his gift. But his best friend Chip is always there to lift his spirits and give him confidence in what he does.
