Ninjara was a supporting character in Archie’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Adventures comic book. She was kind of a mix between Marvel’s Elektra and DC’s Catwoman; a ninja assassin and the world’s greatest thief rolled into one.  
Unlike most of the anthropomorphics to appear in TMNTA, Ninjara was not a mutation, but in fact was part of an ancient race of fox people.  
She had a romantic involvement with Raphael, so I gave her one of his sai’s with what was intended to be a red bandana tied to the hilt, like she took a couple of keepsakes before they went their seperate ways.
 
In the comics, her colouring was entirely the red/brown I used on the hands, but I wanted to give her the more natural colouring of a british fox (even tho’ she’s Japanese).
