Description

This is Light Paw, a character from a regrettably short lived PF2 game! He’s a dance battler Champion of Shelyn, the goddess of love, beauty, and The Arts.

As a young kitten, Light Paw grew up in a rough part of the big city in a large communal family, as is common for catfolk. He quickly found he had a talent for making his body move and there was nothing else he liked doing more. He was good enough at it that people would stop to watch and even leave him money. As he improved and and his reputation spread, people would even hire him to dance for them. Being in the rough part of town, these were usually people of very questionable repute who payed him with money acquired via very dubious means, but Light Paw didn’t care as long as he got to dance. Whether on his own or for other people, all he cared about was dancing, and he was content with this.

All of this changed in his late teens when a pair of clerics of Shelyn happened to come upon one of his performances. They saw in his dancing true beauty and afterwards approached him and asked if he’d like to come with them and learn about Shelyn. He only had a single question for them.
“Will I still be able to dance?”
“We pray that you never stop!”

And thus he started on the path to becoming a champion of Shelyn. He still dances now, but no longer only for his own sake. He dances to inspire and protect others. His chainmail glitters and shimmers as he gracefully wields his glaive in combat against those who would subjugate and suppress others from finding their own inner beauty.
