About a month ago, I just decided to draw a bunch of Bambi drawings with canon characters and OCs. This is a finished one of them. I’ve had wanted to draw out how Bambi would meet his kids. I imagine that he comes down to see them once all the animals leave after the end of the first movie. I also imagine that the children are asleep at this time and don’t consciously meet him until they walk and talk. I think Bambi would be more of a present father than his father, but still have some distance since male deer don’t really raise the fawns. One thing that really bothered me about many adult bambi designs is that from the span of a year, he turns into a little buck into a huge Great-Prince-esque one. It doesn’t seem natural so I gave him a look in between his first movie one and the great prince.
