“Oh-boy! I’m gonna make some hedgehog stew today!”
— Dr. Robotnik, YTPMV
Khem. Just another tribute to Sonic The Hedgehog series. I’m happy with how it turned out. Even the scanner defect did not appear (which is strange, it usually appears every time and you have to additionally process the image).
Yes, I prefer the Sonic Adventure version of Chaos to the Generations’ one. I think the SG Chaos is an alien fish-faced beast rather than a pure water entity. Its skin is too dense, reptilian-like and for some reason it forms an exoskeleton on the neck, while the SA Chaos’ scales are more watery. Moreover, SG Chaos has light bulbs over its body like some cop car! That’s weird. Some off-color horns were placed on the nose as if designers didn’t know what else to add. Its snout is also very smooth and short like that of a salmon. Of course, Chaos should be associated with water creatures, but not THAT much. The SA one’s face shapes seem more imposing and intimidating to me. Its appearance is generally more divine and truly represents the water element.
…But in the game, I always found its behavior funny. It shakes its head and moves its nose as if sniffing something tasty. Like some hedgehog stew! Hehe.
I also have a serious question… If Chaos is one with all the water with which it flooded Station Square using the sewers, then it turns out that all the shit, the corpses of rats and people just float inside it? So Chaos is, like, the real shitdemon?
In addition, as far as I can remember, I have always unconsciously drawn cities in ruins… Yeah, that’s some deep dark apocalyptic thoughts.
So, anyway, we can say that there was a complete chaos on my work table!
