Element #108 is Hassium, a snake-like radioactive element and one of Promethium’s cohorts.

She started off as just your typical lead element until the Synvasion Force had to lay the groundwork for a new base of operations right on top of her town just a ways from Minimus City. She was used as a subject for ionization, and was infused with nuclei from the element, Iron. Once the Synvasion scientists found her to be a failed experiment, they left her in the wasteland surrounding Minimus City for dead. She awoke months after her mutation, only to find that she had a bad case of amnesia, a worse case of body alteration to that of a legless serpent, and the WORST case of hunger no food or person could ever hope to satiate. One night in one of the shadowy parts of Minimus City, Promethium found her in the midst of devouring a poor soul. She spotted Promethium and was about to devour him too until the rooster-like mercenary made a proposition for her to join his merry band. In return for her cooperation, she can have all the food she can eat, including spies or witnesses to their crimes.

Hassium, despite her physique, is quite lazy most of the time. She always carries a shoulder bag that contains comic books, handheld video games, and snacks for times when her hunger starts acting up. However, that bag can also contain gear used specifically for sneaking and infiltration. Being part cobra means she can use her body to constrict her prey, as well as inject them with a poisonous venom through her fangs before proceeding to swallow them whole. She also specializes in stealth and espionage, allowing her to go through most places unseen or unheard, and making her kills as silent as they are deadly. She can also see well in the dark, thanks to her infrared goggles.
