Zonto

Zonto is a demon. He doesn’t like to say he’s from hell but instead refers to it as Downstairs, just operatives from heaven tend to say Upstairs. He the Earl-Marshal of this version of The World and has held the position longer than any other Downstair’s operative.

He’s complex fellow who has to ride rough-shod sometimes over a bunch of overzealous yahoos that come up from below. He can be thought of as being the theater coordinator for an intelligence organization. In spite his job he’s ended up befriending both Jessica and Carla and has proven to be a useful resource, if not ally, on occassion. He’s a no-nonsense type of fellow who’ll remind you of that crotchey old man who lives in your neighborhood. He loves good cigars and even better whiskey!
