CHARACTER Lola Bunny
~ SHE LOOKS FINE HOW SHE IS ~
So if y’all didn’t hear yet, Space Jam 2 is coming out and they decided to redesign her look to a more “desexualized” look. They took away her boobs and curvy legs. Apparently the director said they wanted a “stronger” look for her.. so you’re saying that sexy women aren’t strong? That curvy woman can’t play basketball? That you can only be strong and play basketball if you have more of a boyish look? Well I say that’s bullshit. Saying she looks better without boobs and curvy legs actually sounds pretty anti feminist to me. If you get offended by a FEMALE character with a FEMALE body then something is wrong with you. She looked fine before the redesign and it was unnecessary to change her look. If they wanted to desexualiz her all they needed to do was give her better character development, be more than just a sex symbol/sexual object and have all the guys stop drooling over her. That would automatically make her “stronger” as a character. Change her role, not her appearance. Sorry for the rant but people today are so offended by everything and “fixing” what isn’t even broken. Be open minded, don’t be a Karen. ✌
