What??? An upload from me that for once doesn’t include Sonic and Tails? I must be not right in the head.

And indeed I am because incompetent me took 9 hours straight to finish this little piece (in which around 75% was spent contemplating about whether I’ve got the background or the bloodstains right, 20% was spent air drumming to Helena because the drums are awesome on that song, and the rest was spent on actually drawing the damn thing). Started from midnight to around 9 AM, only standing up for toilet breaks and what-not. I might have lost my sanity.

So this was just a random idea that popped up in my mind but man, never thought it would take this long. Trying to imitate the album’s art style turned out to be a not-so-easy task since I suck at things and I have most likely ended up with a style that’s separate from the source. But, not gonna lie, for its own thing, it kinda does look awesome (to me, that is. If you think it’s terrible, that’s understandable because like I said, I suck at things like making Amy’s dress visible by actually giving it a lighter color, I suck at that too). Had to screw around with the bunch of Brush tool presets just to get the background and the bloodstains right because I am very nitpicky when it comes to imitations (which is basically what this is, hell I even traced the tiny blood spots all over and copy-pasted the band logo, does that count as cheating? I mean I am trying to imitate the real cover as like, a parody or sth)

But anyway… yeah. ShadAmy, MCR-emo-style… ish. I guess. Although at some point I thought “What if I put Sonic there instead?” That idea got scrapped considering the emo nature of this album and band, therefore leaving Shadow as the obvious choice. I’m personally fine with either Sonamy or Shadamy tbh.

…long wall of nonsensical text that was. Is that what happens when I try to type tired? Oh well. I’m off to do something else more beneficial at the moment, like sleeping and getting off the office chair.
