While a predator, Khenlos doesn’t usually eat living creatures and since he learned how to cook he hunts small game to eat the meat he needs. Still , he is able to swallow whole bigger game and even humanoids but never to eat them raw and alive since he lost the taste for living prey.
 
He lives alone in the jungle just minding his business and maybe slithering around some kind of ruins he doesn’t really know much about. At first he wasn’t the smartest naga around and almost feral, but explorers and adventurer-wannabes usually travel near his living place and with exposure and interaction with them he learned to speak, read and cook. Common social cues and other things like clothing are still a work in progress.
 
Usually playful but also helpful with strangers, he has met with many kinds of people and creatures during the years. They usually are fascinated by his serpentine body and his freaky tongue, including the proprieties of his saliva… Even asking for the bottled stuff to carry it with them. He traded samples and bottles for supplies from time to time, and after that he left them to their devices and retreated back to his place.
 
He frequently interacts with some true friends that visit him from time to time, and he has a small collection of trinkets and baubles from the ’outside world” that he keeps as mementos from those visits, but usually tries to evade the most noisy of the tourists that visit his jungle.
