Hey, Sonic stuff too! I have plenty of ideas knocking around in my head about a potential Sonic next gen~ Don’t worry, I’m not quitting the ponies any time soon lol. I’d just like to emphasize some of the other things I’m interested in!

Sonia and Manic were characters from Sonic Underground, and for the longest time I’ve wanted to see how I’d redesign them if they were in the same modern setting as the current Sonic!

And so here they are~ I took inspiration from quite a few things lel
The most obvious (to me) being Sonia’s gloves being based off of Garnet’s from Steven Universe (I feel like it fits), and Manic’s shoes being a nod to Charmy, with the addition of them being platforms. Cuz why wouldn’t they shop at the same shoe store?
I didn’t want either of them to have red in their palettes (at least as a main color) since their brother Sonic’s already got the red shoes as a staple of his design, so instead I went with a light purple in Sonia and shades of orange for Manic.
I’d imagine they’d also have different voice actors, though I myself haven’t figured that out just yet lel. I will tho-

I’m still learning the Sonic style, but I’m trying my best ;v; I haven’t drawn in this style in literally years-

These are my redesigns and I wish to keep them that way, I’d prefer if others wouldn’t use my designs please!
