Another class project. The “Nightmare Project,” in which we draw what we fear. I fear decay and self-destruction.

This was even more of a nightmare than I remember, as I spent a good two hours scanning in sections of this massive piece, trying to find a perfection rotation (I never did) and then piecing together the entire thing. Some parts were not salvageable, so I staggered bits of the image and pushed the lines into one another. Good lord am I glad it’s over.

Anyway, this is an example of my “normal” artwork. I don’t like drawing on tiny sheets of paper large enough to fit in a 8.5x11 scanner, but that’s what I’m relegated towards doing. Any higher end matted ink work I do will look similar to this.
