Species Sheet: Krakun
Look, I’m always busy!

Gre7g Luterman’s novel Skeleton Crew, and its sequel(s) Small World are getting published soon by Thurston Howl, and I’ve been slated to do all illustrations this time around. As such, I needed to actually figure out once and for all exactly how I am going to draw the species of said books, which it’s high time I did since the Hayven Celestia universe is technically mine.

This time, though, the design I wanted for the krakun is NOT based off on Kyoht’s original artwork for Skeleton Crew. Sorry, Ky! I know you wanted to go against Furry Expectations with your toad-like design, but I reeeeally would much rather go with my first concept of the krakun as Awesome And Terrible Space Dragon Overlords. It’s just more fun that way. But look! I kept the three-tipped tongue!

Ten Thousand Miles Up was supposed to be a one-shot short story! How did it end up like this? IT WAS ONLY A KISS
