Slim, tall, and aloof, GREED is the shady business mogul of the sins. They’re seen eyeing on anything material, especially those with designer labels on them (their monocle is designed to identify such things). Their greedy nature often leads to kleptomaniac tendencies, so you’ll often find them sneaking into vaults and stores without your consent. They’re also pretty focused on looking dapper all day, just like their close friend and partner-in-crime Envy. They’re usually seen with a snarky expression on their face as if to say, “You know what I’m gonna do.” If there’s a single coin or dollar bill on the street, they’ll just take it, ignoring pleas to put it back or find its owner. They don’t care, and they never will. And while Gluttony is only focused on the food side of life, Greed looks at the world as a whole, thinking of all the things that they could want. Occasionally, they’re with Lust to amp up the desire. In short, they’re the sins’ leader, and everyone looks up to them for helpful (or should I say harmful?) advice.
Summoners find themselves in a kleptomaniac trance and can’t stop stealing, regardless of how hard they try to control these tendencies. They’re often bound to hear Greed’s voice in their heads, urging them to steal anything left on the ground. Effects can overlap with Envy’s, but the main difference is that summoners’ eyes will flash yellow.
Greed’s emblem is a “corrupted” gold bar, probably signifying the desire of wanting more if summoners’ desires are not fulfilled fast. Greed mostly goes on Envy’s shopping sprees unless the latter needs eir alone time. You’re bound to see them eating with Gluttony or by the bedside with Lust. They’re not that involved with the rest of the sins (Sloth, Wrath, and Pride) since they’re motivated to only work with those who have similar goals. When idle, Greed loves coffee, although this can lead to a spat with Pride (since fae is obsessed with tea). You’ll see them with a cigarette on rare occasions, too.
