Some more concept art of Arash Kor, a quite important character that will appear in Shadi’s story. He’s the great-grandson of Arashir, last king of Sirath, and the last descendant of the Kor dinasty.  
The Ajshar (cat folk) are still more than 50% of the population in the city of Sirath, even though most of them live in the slums. Many still look up to Arash for guidance, and he tries his best to lead his people to a better future, earning himself the title of “King of Beggars”. His greatest flaw is the absolute hatred for every other race, so much that no one other than Ajshar are allowed to live or move in the territory under his control. This lead him to refuse any sort of help also from humans who genuinely want to improve the conditions of his people.
 
The authorities of Sirath (now a viceroy under the human empire of Laatven) deemed he was not a threat and let him be. Considering Laatven is on the losing side of a war, risking a non-human uprising by killing the last Ajshari “king” was not a priority. On his part, Arash never opposed the new government and kept peace among his subjects.
