This has been on my to do list for quite awhile. Inspired by last year’s devastating Australian fires. Diman is an aboriginal Australian word for Ashes. This great drake, born of the ashes and still smouldering from the great burn symbolizes the resilience of Australia’s forestS. 20x24 acrylic on illustration board.
