Agent-72 AKA Karma
Something I’ve been working on in between comm work. Thanks to itsuko103 for helping with shading and lighting!

Agent-72 was one of the best hackers/espionage specialists working with the Worlds United Peacekeepers. Despite her penchant for drinking the hardest of liquors and a tendency to get cocky and overconfident, she always managed to get the job done, and thus save countless lives through her actions. However in her last mission to steal plans for a secret weapon only known as ‘The Cage’, a slip up in attempting to gain access to the files led to a swift and untimely death.
Shortly after, her brain copy would awaken and receive a reprimand from her superiors for failing such a crucial mission. Mentally kicking herself for letting her overconfidence finally get the best of her, she begged to complete the mission and be granted a second chance. Begrudgingly, her superiors granted her that chance, as this was the closest anyone has ever got to recovering the weapon plans and that her skills were still needed. But due to 72’s lack of a body, some changes in the plan needed to be made. And so to help infiltrate the same facility more discreetly, her brain copy was downloaded into one of the many synthoid animal assistants that worked on site. This time was a success, 72 was able to download all the plans for the project, but in the process alerted the security to the breach. With the plans stored into her brain, 72 barely escaped capture and was able to hijack a spaceship to rendezvous with some fellow agents. Suddenly, while en route to her destination, a small fleet of space ships hailing from the terrorist group known as the Isolationists, ambushed her and attacked her ship. Outgunned, 72’s escape ship was badly damaged and sent hurtling down towards the nearby planet that she was passing by, a rocky desert world with a ring of space junk swirling around it.
72 would later awaken and scramble out of what nearly ended up being her twisted metal coffin. Alone and out of her element on a back water desert world, 72 scrambled to come up with a plan. However with nothing but sand and stone stretching off into the horizon and a blazing sun above her, she slowly realized her chances of getting off world let alone living were incredibly slim. But as if the cruel god of the universe decided to show mercy for once, a huge all-terrain truck slowly approached the crash site. 72 was quick to hide in case it was another enemy, sent in to finish her off once and for all. Out of the truck stepped out a tall muscular humanoid with a long scraggly blond mane, carrying numerous heavy duty tools and wearing a patched up hodge-podge of engineer work clothes. 72 had no other options but to reveal herself, shocking the junk collector, surprised that anyone could have survived the crash. But just before they were about to properly get acquainted, the same Isolationist fleet from earlier flew down from the sky, intending to make sure there were no loose ends. To 72’s surprise the seemingly humble junk collector whipped out a beaten but functioning long range particle rifle and took cover behind the wreckage. With the skill that she’d only seen in the most well trained soldiers, the collector quickly fired a volley of laser fire towards the oncoming ships who were clearly not expecting such sudden resistance. 3 of the 4 ships were instantly decimated by the pin point accuracy, while the 4th made a quick retreat back into space. The collector quickly questioned the canine synth why a terrorist group would come to a random back water planet after her. In response 72 asked how a dirty junk collector had the deadly skill of a highly ranked soldier. Both relented their aggressive attitudes and talked about the situation, with 72 omitting just enough info so as not to give away her secret mission and who she worked for. In the end, she requested that the junk collector take her to the nearest space port so she could leave the planet. The collector let out a hearty laugh explaining that the only one on the planet was on the other side of the continent they were on. 72 remained sternly silent. With nothing else planned in mind, the junk collector who introduced himself as Kehll, decided to help the synthoid in her plight.
And so together the unlikely duo would set off into the searing wilderness on a road trip across the vast desert continent. 72 would eventually earn the name Karma as to help to further protect her true identity. And also as a joke from Kehll who still won’t tell the canine synthoid the true meaning behind her name, despite her demands.
