For :iconcdb2:’s ‘Halloween Art Jam’.

I was to choose a cartoon character and suit him or her up in a costume based off something.
I chose Minerva Mink from the classic ‘Animaniacs’ and suited her up in the famous orange and yellow suit of Samus Aran from the SNES classic ‘Super Metroid.’

Only for parody purposes; it has been relabeled ‘Super Mink-Troid.’

The suit itself only had a few modifications. The main one being the extra guard on her tail. Cause other than the void of space; she needs protection from lava and acid too that plagued Samus on her exploits on the planet Zebes.
And if you look close in the background; I added tiny little ear buds on her helmet.

In the background she is kind of mimicking the cover of the game; where she was fighting the red version of Ridley. In this version it’s Ridley’s correct color which is a sort of dark purple. He was fun to draw WB cartoon style.

The foreground is the iconic “off with her suit” if you completed the game in a certain time. Only Minerva is emerging from it as she desuits. She’s wearing that ever so comfy space bikini of sorts. ;D

It took a heck of a long time to finish; but it was worth it. Wanted it done before Halloween. Hope you all like.
