Description

I have a number of other African critters already sketched but I wanted to paint the bear first because it was perfect to test a number of ideas for painting thick fur. These pretty grizzlies have a lot of it and it has a very specific feeling to it that I tried to capture here. Eventually I’ll be visiting other continents too.
