Alright, so I tried a thing! X’D I saw the new motion poster for the upcoming Sonic movie and edited it/painted over it to see how I would’ve handled the “more realistic Sonic” design goal they aimed for. I felt the way they executed it was a bit…questionable, even with just the silhouette being shown.
 
I edited away his tiny bulgy eye, gave him his furless tan arms, replaced the fleshy fuzzy head growths with actual spines (though simplified for style purposes), put some meat on his bones while avoiding the “muscular human limbs” look, painted on Sonic’s signature shoes, and gave him fingerless gloves just because XD
 
I hope it looks alright ^^;
