Description
In the Rabydosverse, its many peoples believe in various beings who protect them from danger.
For example, in Porashon, the locals believe that Jambavan the bear-king protects their children from demons and evil spirits. For this reason, families give one-year old babies black bear dolls to protect them from danger, which are given away or burned when they reach their 13th birthday.
Likewise, the Vozonids in the north believed in jaupôrozzo, gryphon spirits that fight against demons and monsters who attack people when they sleep. To honour them, the Vozonids pray to statues of gryphons and leave offerings to them.
