Even Sonic knows when it’s time to call in the professionals. When that to-do list starts looking to be a bit on the endless side of the spectrum, it’s way past time to punch in the speed-dial for a prolific pair of purple Dragons.

I’m very well versed with both Spyro and Cynder. I’ve played a bunch of the games from their series, most recently the very entertaining Spyro Re-Ignited Trilogy. There is so much charm to be found in exploring each of their worlds, combing through every last nook and cranny for god knows know many different collectable items. Spyro in particular really is an expert when it comes to finding “all the things” lol.

After finishing all three games, I had to find an excuse to draw these two. Since there are so many different designs out there for both Spyro and Cynder I got to play around with how they looked and ended up with something of a fusion of each of my favorite designs. Fun stuff.

So that’s how this pic came about.
