First of all I think I nailed Neji’s 64-palm pose pretty well. A little off on some parts but then again i guess I don’t want it to be exactly alike. this is probably the most fan-art type thing I’ve done. Pokemon and Naruto.

When I first saw Lucario in the movie I thought OMG he’s a ninja. Then he did that thing with his eyes and seeing Aura for miles around and I said holy crap he’s Neji! Sticking on walls, hiding in the shadows, swift movement, power to see chakra…I mean aura. It doesn’t help that in smash he takes Neji’s stance from the Naruto games.

The pic is incomplete as far as I’m concerned. I made a terrible irreversible mistake which made it impossible for me shade the pic like I wanted to. The fur I worked so hard on became almost invisible and I couldn’t fix it without messing up the whole pic. I just became discouraged. I just wanted to end it after that and made a quick, crappy bg. I didn’t even put the aura into the pic. Despite everything though I decided against putting it in the scraps.
