This is sadly a sketch from the last thing I’d ever collaborate with GSPervert on. After the distant past didn’t work out, we tried the distant future, vaguely drawing inspiration from things like Starcraft, Doom, the Alien franchise, and other “space marine” junk. Thing is, at this point it was becoming painfully clear that we didn’t “mesh” in collaboration. One of the biggest things you have to do when it comes to collaborative work is give and take, and I was doing all the taking and none of the giving. Everything had to be “my way,” and it fell apart pretty fast.

Despite really trying to learn from this, every other collaboration I’ve done has ended pretty similar, to be honest. I don’t know if it’s the autism or just some other inherent shortcoming, but this was drawn in 2005 and I haven’t successfully managed to be a part of another collaborative project since.

Ahh well, at least “Rho” looks hot in his battle armor, and GSPervert even had a little fun with my tendency to use “:P” in my AIM conversations an awful lot with the cheek tattoo.
