A recreational fan art of the W.I.T.C.H. characters as Digidestined from Digimon, my favorite anime series from my childhood, has been on my To-Do List for over a year. I always wondered what it would be like if WITCH and Orube were Digidestined, the Destined humans to save both the Human and the Digital World from evil with their Digimon partners. And since there are 6 seasons total so far, this is the perfect opportunity for me to pair them up and draw them in Digimon style. The Digimon part were recreational, meaning that they were drawn based on existing ideas.

Originally, I was going to give Mermaimon as Irma’s Digimon partner since she appeared in Digimon Xros Wars…but I kinda like Dianamon better and even though she doesn’t really appeared in this season, her rookie level version, Lunamon, does. I haven’t drawn Digimon in a long time, so I had to go back and draw them based on memories.
