It has been months since my last glowing wallpaper, but the next one is finally here!
There were a lot of requests for Luna, and I also thought she would be awesome for one of these wallpapers. I especially liked her colour scheme…Boy, was I wrong…
In the fourth episode of season 2, Luna’s colours changed a bit in comparison to season 1. They became a lot darker. For the glowing effect to work, I had to take brighter colours, but the effect still doesn’t look as strong as in the other wallpapers.
I didn’t want to make them any brighter than this, as I don’t want her colours to be completely wrong!
In the fourth episode of season 2, Luna’s colours changed a bit in comparison to season 1. They became a lot darker. For the glowing effect to work, I had to take brighter colours, but the effect still doesn’t look as strong as in the other wallpapers.
I didn’t want to make them any brighter than this, as I don’t want her colours to be completely wrong!
Also, Luna was by far the hardest of all these wallpapers. This one took me way longer to complete, partly because her design is just more complex than that of the other ponies. Because of this, I think the wallpaper doesn’t fit in with the others as well as I’d like.
But, in the end I’m really happy with the result! I think Luna came out awesome, and it was definitely interesting and fun to do this wallpaper of her!
Vinyl Scratch is up next. At least she will be a bit simpler again ^^ Mind you, that doesn’t mean she will be less awesome!
