Kalena practices for her Olympic competition. She lowers her body down and spreads out her wings, getting ready and into position.

When the competitive judge yells “GO!”, Kalena will launch herself skyward in a flurry of wings and feathers. She’d beat her wings as fast as she can to gain that competitive advantage, leave the flock and zip around the race course.

There’s no 2020 Summer Olympics this year in Tokyo. Kalena will have to wait until 2021 to compete again in sport.
