Yet another quick horse practice sketch that turned into a full blown illustration. :P

Nur is once again dealing with cavalry, but this time they are not using just spears. Riding close to the enemy infantry lines and unloading several guns before quickly retreating was a pretty common tactic in the early modern era, and Nur is dealing with just that. Thankfully his father Rahan managed to jump in front of him and deflected the bullet with his own helmet. It must have been a pretty hard hit, but his helmet is sturdy enough, so he’ll likely walk away with only a headache.
