This was mostly made for fun, while I was thinking of how to implement the Skylanders’ Dragons into my story (as I needed more dragons around Spyro’s age), I had a fun thought about High-Five, and that he would be this hotshot racer who would introduce Spyro to the racing scene in Avalar. Being a true blooded racer, his design inspiration is a mixture of a racehorse, and NASCAR.

High-Five was the original owner of Sparx, but his former Dragonfly partner left him as the hybrid wanted to head to Avalar after hearing about the speedways there, wanting to set some new records after he’s crushed every flight level in the dragon realms. With Sparx choosing to stay behind to help out other dragons in need. Upon arriving in Avalar, High-Five would proceed to dominate every single Speedway there, as no one was able to match the dragon’s legendary speed!

And for some time, that was it. High-Five was the reigning champion of not just the Dragon Realms, but even Avalar itself! Holding the top spot of the leaderboard of every Time Trial and Raceway he’s participated in. Without any competition however, it started getting boring… until he heard rumors that one dragon had been challenging his times in the Dragon Realms… And beating them! Atop of that, this new challenger is also the owner of his former partner Sparx! While He wanted to pack his things and head home to meet this Dragon, little did he know that he would actually come to him!

Unlike Skylanders, High-Five doesn’t have 4 other brothers, instead he is named as so for his incredible top speed of 505 mph! which he set in Canyon Speedway! Before receiving such a title, he was formerly known as Buzzerker, As the intense buzzing of his wings whenever he raced was comparable to that of an engine roaring!
