Anyways, this was drawn some time around Mother’s Day. I was just thinking about the huge contrast between certain species of Pokémon and their different evolutions. Torchic and Blaziken are an excellent example. And I was thinking about how strange it is to imagine a Blaziken being a mother to something so cute and fluffy as a Torchic, and yet that’s exactly how it would work in ‘real life’. Hence the picture. _
