Description

Gévaudans (Lycopardus Parthenophagus) are semi-sapient and live in the caves of mountainous regions of Western Europe, first discovered in France in the 1760s, but there have been sightings of similar creatures in Germany a century prior.
Females are two feet taller than the males, standing at 8ft tall. Females are more colourful than the males with a maroon coloured coat with dark grey spots, which is rare in the animal kingdom.
Females also have a strange pink lining on their maw. They live in packs about 25 max, but are rarely seen hunting together. A dominant female called a queen leads the pack. She lives in a special compartment of the cave with her harem of three males. Bite force can reach up to 1,500 pounds, knights have had their thickest armour cracked by the animals.
Females have higher testosterone than the males, even their anatomical structure is like that of males. Males have a monthly “spermial” cycle, where unused sperm and prostate fluid are released outside the body for over the span of a week, other symptoms include cramping in the genital area and hormones imbalances. This can be seen as an equivalent to a human female’s menstrual cycle.
