So…over on my RP blog I did a question meme and one of m partners sent in a symbol for a plot I’d like to write with them and I wrote that I’d be interested in Rping a Dark AU where Kouichi stays as Duskmon and Cherubimon eventually wins. A few of my other partners wanted to hear more about the idea so I came up with this AU.

Kouji is killed in episode 21, driving Kouichi insane so he rejects his humanity entirely. Takuya then flees back to the real world and never comes back, living as Flamon since he doesn’t know how to change back. Back in the Digital World, Jun-Pei (JP), Izumi (Zoe) and Tomoki (Tommy) somehow manage to escape Mercurymon and Ranamon on their own, and the two villains are executed by Duskmon for their failures.

Patamon hatches without his fractal code and is an ordinary Digimon, rather than a Celestial. The remaining heroes fight their way to Cherubimon’s castle, sometimes barely scraping by, to rescue Ophanimon…

Only she isn’t interested in being rescued, having started to see things Cherubimon’s way and agreeing to side with him in her Falldown Mode. She secures their Spirits for Cherubimon and Duskmon gives him the others, including his own temporarily and Cherubimon finishes taking over the Digital World. Lucemon is somehow revived and he and the Royal Knights find Cherubimon and Ophanimon for control. Meanwhile Cherubimon returns the Spirits of Darkness to Kouichi, and forces his remaining Spirits on 4 Children he found wandering with an Angemon, and Ophanimon Corrupts the Spirits used by Jun-Pei, Izumi and Tomoki, the Legendary Warriors are sent to the real world to take over and each rule a section of it.

Bokomon and Neemon are alive, simply because the no one considers them important enough to kill, they protect Patamon in the new world for a while but eventually lose him in the chaos so he has to fend for himself

That’s pretty much it unless I get some new ideas.
