Description

Between her girlfriend Raptie and her good friend and roommate FYS, Jenny’s apartment sees a lot of activity and more than a few shenanigans. Balancing out the mischievous energy of the other two, though, we have Jenny herself. Calm, collected, and responsible, Jenny is the stable rock of the household. The “straight man” of this particular comedy troupe.
But that’s not to say that she’s some stodgy killjoy! She enjoys her friends’ antics, and she can even be convinced to play along now and again. In fact, one surefire way to bring out Jenny’s naughty side is to play to her enjoyment of feeling sexy for her girlfriend. It doesn’t take much encouragement from Raptie to get her to strike a fun pose, and when it’s part of a bit of foreplay, our ever-responsible komodo gal can get pretty naughty! How did that raptor manage to get so lucky, anyway? ^_~

I’m really happy with this piece, and Roksana has a real knack for squeezing in the unique anatomy details of our Forest friends without it feeling awkward or out of place. There’s so much packed into this one, I feel like I need to risk spoiling the magic a little to point some of it out. Come with me on a journey of over-explanation!
All in one picture, we have:
Height - In my setting, komodo dragons are part of the “medium anthro” species, of a similar height range to humans in this much less interesting world. Therefore, at six feet (~183 cm), Jenny is rather tall for a komodo dragon woman, and I think that comes across well here.
Fingers - Komodo dragons have lizard-y fingers that are just a bit longer than the anthro average.
Neck - One of the most immediately recognizable features of komodo dragons! They have extra neck skin that tends to bunch up into rolls, and the looseness of the skin is a good proxy for age. Though modern anthro komodos no longer need to be able to bolt down huge hunks of meat whole, the throat capacity remains.
Teeth - This one rarely gets shown off in my gallery! If you look at pictures of wild komodos, it almost looks like they don’t have teeth in those big mouths. Really, they have pretty large (and serrated!) teeth, but they’re recessed in these big, puffy gums. In fact, the poor dears often end up injuring themselves when they bite! Modern anthro komodos don’t have gums that are quite so big and puffy, so the tips of their teeth are just visible, giving the impression that they have lots of little-bitty teeth.
Tongue - The famous flick-y tongue, described and seen in motion here!
Tail - Every anthro species needs a big, awkward tail to make chairs and pants more difficult!
