Here’s a drawing I made last night of two dogs named Rocky and Marshall from Paw Patrol doing cute dog things in my style. I made this drawing because in Paw Patrol my favorite dogs are Marshall and Everest for some reason.
This is the trace I was drawing under. It was my old drawing in November 30 2016:
This is the original stock art from Paw Patrol:
I was trying to say that uploading traces of other artist’s work, without their permission or in defiance of their request that you not trace their work, is not permitted here. And that if you are just tracing, it is sometimes very difficult to see the anatomical errors in your own work because you’re just copying other people’s mistakes.

Are you trying to make me believe that you forbid me to make a fanart about one or more characters based on a reference? Because I did it on November 30, 2016 using a reference on Google image and I wanted to show it to you in a clean transparent version, like here.
Very true. But when tracing someone else’s work you have to respect their rights and not trace people who have asked that their work not be traced, and if you finish a work and want to share it with others, acknowledge that original artist by giving them credit (your work is, after all, derivative).
The problem in this case is that you did not see that you did not understand the image you were tracing, and drew a shoulder that comes off of the lower spine of one of your characters.
I think tracing for practice is ok, many artists start their first step like that, but if you want to make the trace art public you have to respect original artist.

So you forbid me to trace over the works of others without crediting them and I have the right to trace over my own works of art? I should just ignore you and get on with the present.
lol can’t understand what you’re looking at when taking advantage of other artists hard work
