We’ve been reclaiming it for around 20 years now, though I’m not one to throw it around because it is still a sore spot for the many who have been hurt by it. Rather find substitutes that work well enough >^_<

Given what’s been done with the N-word by the people it historically derided, I always suspected it’d only be a matter of time before the LBGTQ community did the same with this word.
